Sevgi Aydost focuses on complex and structured matters of Turkish law, particularly in the areas of insurance, transportation, dispute resolution, banking and finance, and employment.

Sevgi advises clients on litigation and dispute resolution matters, including the representation of foreign clients in international arbitration proceedings. She has extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements, including sale and supply agreements, loan agreements and related security documents, warehousing and logistics services agreements, and construction contracts, including shipbuilding and yacht construction agreements.

She has represented local and international banks, leasing companies, and other financial institutions in contractual, registration, and contentious matters relating to ship sales and ship finance. Sevgi also has broad experience in insurance law, advising local and international insurance and reinsurance companies on both contentious and non-contentious matters. In addition, she provides legal advice on employment and social security law.

Having worked at the firm for several years, Sevgi became a partner in 2026.

Sevgi graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2015 with high honours and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2016. She holds an LL.M. degree in Business Law from Istanbul Bilgi University, where she ranked second in her class. Her dissertation was entitled “An Evaluation of Directors’ and Officers’ Liability Insurance under the Turkish Commercial Code.”
